The First Float Collection is a starter set featuring the 2-liter Ocean Ring aquarium, designed for keeping a single species of jellyfish. It combines essential functionality with clean design and offers the perfect space for a first experience with keeping Lactoides.
Although First Float is our most affordable starter kit, it is paradoxically the most demanding to maintain. Jellyfish prefer stable water conditions — the more water volume, the better — and this is our smallest aquarium. Therefore, it is important to be very consistent with water changes and water testing. For beginners, we recommend starting with the Genesis or Essentials starter kits. Ocean’s Clouds collections are designed to make your first step simple, safe, and complete.
Jellyfish from the collection are shipped in a second delivery after 14 days, once the aquarium has successfully completed its cycling process.

The First Float Collection is ideal for those seeking an aesthetic yet easily manageable interior addition – whether at home or in a workspace.
The aquarium is made from clear acrylic, equipped with biological filtration, and calibrated to ensure a gentle and even water flow – just as jellyfish require.
The system is optimized for easy operation – feed once a day, change part of the water weekly, and keep filtration components clean. The included tools and step-by-step instructions will guide you through it all. The gentle water flow helps maintain ideal conditions for jellyfish without unnecessary complexity.
Care is fully ethical and free from harm to nature. The jellyfish we offer are not caught from the wild – they are born in our own breeding facilities under controlled conditions, with attention to their natural needs. As jellyfish have no brain or central nervous system, they do not perceive the difference between the ocean and an aquarium.
